.DISCUSSION...
Today and Friday will be active days for showers and thunderstorms with
the most likely periods for lightning today occuring from 1 PM to 8 PM.
Thunderstorms could be strong with the potential for small hail up to 1
inch in diameter, wind gusts up to 50 mph, locally heavy rainfall and
lightning.  Localized flash flooding will be possible if the burn area takes
a direct hit from a stronger storm.  Showers may continue off and on all
night though intensities will be weaker.  Friday will see more showers and
thunderstorms which will carry over into the evening hours.  Similar timing,
storm strengths and risks can be expected.

It will dry out and warm up for the weekend with lighter winds.  High based
thunderstorms with gusty erratic winds will be possible in the afternoons and
evenings.

Sky/weather.........Partly cloudy (55 percent) until 1300, then
                    mostly cloudy (65 percent). Slight chance of showers
                    until 1200, then chance of showers and thunderstorms.
LAL.................1 until 1200, then 4.
Max temperature.....74F.
Min humidity........26-31 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........Southwest winds 12-22 mph. Gusty and erratic
                    winds expected near thunderstorms after 1200.
Mixing height.......6000 ft agl.
Transport winds.....Southwest around 15 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Good until 1100, then excellent until 1400,
                    then good until 1700, then fair.
