.DISCUSSION...

...Yellowstone NP and Teton dispatch areas (includes fire weather
zones 140...414...415...and 416)...

Scattered thunderstorms through sunset this evening will be the
main fire weather concern today. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will
be possible in the immediate vicinity of any storms, with light
sustained winds elsewhere. Isolated lightning is possible, and
given the dry atmosphere, some strikes could be just outside of
where rain is falling under the storm, leading to isolated "dry
lightning" near storms. Saturday afternoon and evening will
feature widespread strong and gusty winds across the region, with
frequent gusts in the 30 to 40 mph range.
