...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL RALEIGH...
NORTHWESTERN WYOMING...EASTERN LOGAN AND SOUTHERN BOONE COUNTIES
THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 448 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Man, or 9 miles southeast of Logan, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oceana, Man, Van, Mallory, Amherstdale-Robinette, Wharton, Bald Knob,
Cyclone, Coal Mountain, Kopperston, Blair, Amherstdale-Robine,
Sharples, and Jeffrey.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
central, southern and southeastern West Virginia.
