.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

A moderate risk for rip currents is expected along the shores of
Walton, Franklin, and southern Gulf county today. Surf heights should
be around 1 to 2 feet today with a period of 5 seconds for Walton and
around 1 foot and 5 seconds for Franklin and Gulf. State Park and
West facing beaches of Gulf County will have surf heights around 2
feet, resulting in a high risk for currents. Bay County beaches remain
at a high risk of rip currents as well.
