.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS AT ALL LOCAL BEACHES...

A lingering southerly long-period swell is evident via late-morning
offshore buoy observations. As such, a high rip current risk forecast
is maintained and is forecast through the weekend as shift from the
northeast to south or southeast each day. Showers and thunderstorms
may be possible each afternoon, with today and Sunday looking to have
the best chances.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:
