...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM CDT
FOR SOUTHEASTERN GEARY AND WEST CENTRAL WABAUNSEE COUNTIES...

At 657 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Volland, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotters.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
         tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
         roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Alma and Volland.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 323 and 327.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
