329 FLUS43 KABR 271004 HWOABR Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Aberdeen SD 504 AM CDT Thu Jun 27 2024 MNZ039-046-SDZ003>011-015>023-033>037-045-048-051-281015- Traverse-Big Stone-Corson-Campbell-McPherson-Brown-Marshall-Roberts- Walworth-Edmunds-Day-Dewey-Potter-Faulk-Spink-Clark-Codington-Grant- Hamlin-Deuel-Stanley-Sully-Hughes-Hyde-Hand-Jones-Lyman-Buffalo- 504 AM CDT Thu Jun 27 2024 /404 AM MDT Thu Jun 27 2024/ This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota, central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast South Dakota. .DAY ONE...Today and tonight. There is an Enhanced Risk (level 3 of 5) for severe weather late this afternoon into this evening for west river counties; Corson, Dewey, Stanley and Jones. The main threats from any of the strongest storms would be large hail (2+ inch diameter hail possible) and damaging wind gusts (up to 80 mph gusts possible). Also, a couple of tornadoes can`t be ruled out as well. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday. There is a Marginal Risk (level 1 of 5) for severe weather across portions of central and northeast South Dakota and west central Minnesota on Friday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation may be requested. Weather spotters are encouraged to submit reports to the National Weather Service in Aberdeen.
