...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MESA COUNTY THROUGH
230 PM MDT...

At 207 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Fruita, or 12 miles west of Grand Junction, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Grand Junction, Fruita, Loma, and Redlands.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 12 and 27.
 Colorado 139 between mile markers 1 and 4.
