.DISCUSSION...
Above average temperatures will persist for the foreseeable
future, peaking Friday and Saturday between 95 and 100 degrees
with heat index values a few degrees higher. Light southerly winds
and moderate humidity are expected tomorrow and Friday, but winds
will switch to the southwest and increase slightly Saturday, with
slightly lower humidity as well. While a few stray showers and
thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon and again tomorrow
afternoon, most areas will remain dry until late Saturday when a
weak cold front is likely to bring a round of showers and
thunderstorms.
