At 1047 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Narrowsburg to near Glen Spey to near Milford. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Middletown, Port Jervis, Monroe, Walden, West Point, Warwick, Goshen, Howells, Gardnertown, Chester, Montgomery, Florida, Harriman, Cuddebackville, and Otisville. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm.
