...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN GLOUCESTER...
SOUTHEASTERN KING AND QUEEN...NORTHWESTERN YORK...EAST CENTRAL NEW
KENT AND NORTHERN JAMES CITY COUNTIES THROUGH 400 PM EDT...

At 322 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Barhamsville, or near Toano, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, heavy rain, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles. Reduced visibility and minor flooding possible.
         Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Gloucester, southeastern King and Queen, northwestern York, east
central New Kent and northern James City Counties, including the
following locations... Holly Forks, Belroi, York River State Park,
Croaker, Barlows Corner, Cash, Gressit, Christensons Corner, Pinero,
and Warren Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
eastern, southeastern and east central Virginia.
