At 802 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Tilghman Island, or 7 miles northeast of Breezy Point, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and frequent lightning. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.
