...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN DORCHESTER COUNTY
THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 802 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tilghman Island, or 7 miles northeast of Breezy Point, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, and frequent
         lightning.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
         unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
         vehicles. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
         Frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Dorchester County, including the following locations... Madison,
Taylors Island, Church Creek, Woolford, Hudson, and Lloyds.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
southeastern Maryland.
