A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas...
  Lake Michigan from Charlevoix to Point Betsie MI 5NM Offshore to
  mid lake...
  Manistee to Point Betsie MI...
  Point Betsie to Sleeping Bear Point MI...

At 830 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. These
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 15 nm west of
South Manitou Island to 7 nm east of Cana Island Light in Wisconsin,
moving southeast at 25 knots.

Strong thunderstorms may impact Empire and Point Betsie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
