...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Wisconsin, including the
  following county, La Crosse.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other
  areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 615 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over
    a short time.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    La Crosse, Onalaska, Holmen, West Salem, La Crosse Airport,
    French Island, Brice Prairie, Medary, The Valley View Mall,
    Blue Bird Campground, North Side Of La Crosse, Nathan Hill,
    Irish Hill, Veterans Memorial Park, Highway 33 And Losey
    Boulevard, Barre Mills, Midway, South Side Of La Crosse, Lock
    And Dam 7 and County Roads M And S.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
