.SYNOPSIS...The difference between high pressure across the
southeast U.S. and the general low pressure in the southwest Gulf
following Tropical Storm Alberto will maintain gusty east winds
and dangerous seas through Friday morning. A moderate easterly
flow will continue through the weekend as another area of low
pressure develops in the southwest Gulf while high pressure
continues across the southeast U.S. Small Craft Advisories are
likely to persist over the Gulf waters until the seas lower which
may not be until late Saturday. Mariners will need to monitor the
weather forecast for the possibility of another tropical low
pressure system to form out of the southwest Gulf low. National
Hurricane Center has a 20 percent chance of Tropical Cyclone
formation in the next 2 days and 50 percent in 7 days.
