...HAZARDOUS THUNDERSTORMS IMPACTING THE COASTAL WATERS...

At 644 PM EDT, thunderstorms were located along a line extending from
Edisto Forty Reef to near Hunting Island Reef, moving east at 20
knots.

  HAZARD...Winds up to 30 knots.

  IMPACT...Expect briefly stronger winds and suddenly higher waves.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, lightning strikes, and poor visibility in heavy rain. Boaters
should seek safe harbor immediately until these storms pass. Put on a
personal flotation device.
