...LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT COLLETON AND DORCHESTER
COUNTIES UNTIL 415 PM EDT...

At 343 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking line of strong
thunderstorms along a line from 6 miles west of Reevesville to 5
miles southeast of Ruffin, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
  Walterboro, Saint George, Reevesville, Smoaks, Williams, Canadys,
  Ruffin, Springtown, Cat Hole and Rhodes Crossroads.

This includes I-95 in South Carolina between mile markers 56 and 81.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
