...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Iowa...

  Des Moines River at Fort Dodge affecting Webster County.

  East Fork Des Moines River near Algona affecting Kossuth and
  Humboldt Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Iowa...

  West Fork Des Moines River at Emmetsburg affecting Palo Alto and
  Pocahontas Counties.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt affecting Humboldt County.

  West Fork Des Moines River at Estherville affecting Emmet County.

.The East Fork Des Moines River at Algona was near crest now. River
levels along the West Fork Des Moines River were all past crest with
levels continuing to slowly fall. However at least minor flooding
will persist in these locations well into next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For the latest river and stream observations and forecasts refer to
weather.gov/desmoines/water.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

River forecasts include observed precipitation plus forecast
precipitation over the next 24 hours.

* WHERE...The East Fork Des Moines River near Algona, or from
  Buffalo Creek near Burt to Lotts Creek near Livermore.

* WHEN...Until early Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Water threatens US 169 near Saint Joseph
  and may affect it south of Algona.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 2:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is near crest now, and will then fall
    below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
