.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM
A distant ocean storm continues to send waves into the Gulf of
Maine. Large seas...dangerous to small craft...are expected to
continue today, and tomorrow from Cape Elizabeth south. However the
pattern is finally breaking down and allowing a narrow area of high
pressure to force its way into the region. Seas will diminish as a
result late this week.
