...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL BRUNSWICK AND
SOUTHEASTERN COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT...

At 332 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Honey Island to
Freeland. Movement was north at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Waccamaw, Makatoka, Freeland, Freeman, Honey Island, Ash, Old
Dock, Delco, Exum, Riegelwood, and Crusoe Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
