...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL ROBESON...NORTH
CENTRAL FLORENCE...DILLON...NORTHEASTERN DARLINGTON AND CENTRAL
MARLBORO COUNTIES THROUGH 430 PM EDT...

At 406 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Mechanicsville, or 12 miles northeast of
Darlington, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Florence, Bennettsville, Dillon, Mccoll, Latta, Quinby, Clio, Raemon,
Hamer, Brownsville, Oak Grove, Bingham, Mechanicsville, Dunbar,
Little Rock, Minturn, Blenheim, Tatum, Mcleod Regional Medical
Center, and Mcleod Medical Center.

This includes Interstate 95 in South Carolina between mile markers
165 and 198.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
