...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY...BATH...
SOUTHEASTERN FLEMING AND ROWAN COUNTIES THROUGH 1015 PM EDT...

At 907 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms over Sharpsburg, or 10 miles northwest of Owingsville,
moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Morehead, Owingsville, Marshall, Sharpsburg, Salt Lick, Ramey, Fannin
Valley, Wyoming, Elliottville, Peasticks, Triplett, Flat Creek,
Christy, Odessa, Hilda, Bourbon Furnace, Pebble, Sharkey, Bethel, and
Oakley.

THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers
115 and 149.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
