.NOW...
Through 930 pm, a line of showers and possible embedded
thunderstorms in the distant western Straits of Florida will race to
the north at near 20 knots, with a sharp wind shift likely along the
outflow boundary associated with this line. Elsewhere across the
Straits, widely scattered showers will move to the northwest at 15 to
20 knots. Mariners encountering this activity can expect wind gusts
near 25 knots, moderate to heavy rainfall that will reduce
visibilities below 3 miles, and a few lightning strikes.
