...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN MARQUETTE AND
SOUTHWESTERN ALGER COUNTIES THROUGH 115 PM EDT...

At 1249 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Trowbridge Park to near Watson. Movement
was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Marquette, Presque Isle, Negaunee, Chatham, Little Presque Isle,
Deerton, Trenary, K. I. Sawyer Airport, Trowbridge Park, Harvey,
Gwinn, Sands, Skandia, The 553 and 480 Crossroads, Little Lake, Kiva,
Sugarloaf Mountain, Diffin, Anderson Lake, and Traunik.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 PM EDT for
north central Upper Michigan.
