Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure over north-central portions of the
Gulf and a stationary front over the Gulf Coast will support
generally light to gentle winds and slight seas through the
middle of the week. A cold front moving through the Gulf late
week will support moderate NE winds across the basin.

.TODAY...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers
and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Numerous
showers and scattered tstms.
.TUE NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to NE to E in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to locally strong winds will occur today north
of 29N and west of 75W as Potential Tropical Cyclone Eight moves
northwestward, likely moving onshore somewhere in the Carolinas
later today. Moderate to rough seas north of 29N and west of 70N
will slowly subside today. Otherwise, gentle to moderate winds
and slight to moderate seas will prevail across the rest of the
basin.

.TODAY...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW to W 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers and isolated
tstms.
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, NE winds 5 kt, shifting to SE after
midnight. N of 27N, SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
