At 632 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas. Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Philadelphia, Camden, Gloucester City, Cherry Hill, Evesham, Mount Laurel, Deptford, Voorhees, Medford, West Deptford, Lindenwold and Bellmawr. This includes the following highways... Atlantic City Expressway between mile markers 40 and 44. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 19 and 41. New Jersey Turnpike between exits 3 and 4. Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 340 and 351. Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 13 and 27. Interstate 676 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 1. Interstate 676 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 4. Interstate 76 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 3. Although the heaviest rain has left the warned area, additional light rain showers could exacerbate any flooding that may already be ongoing. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
