At 131 AM EDT, a cluster of strong thunderstorms was centered near
Shark River Reef, moving northeast at 35 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Ocean Gate, Sea Girt Reef, Atlantic Highlands, Barnegat Light Reef,
Monmouth Beach, Sea Bright, Axel Carlson Reef, Silverton, Forked
River, Fair Haven, Lavallette, Barnegat Light, Shark River Reef,
Point Pleasant Beach, Belmar, Seaside Park, Manasquan Inlet, Pine
Beach, and Sandy Hook Reef.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water, stay below deck if possible and keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
