If storms do manage to form, main impact concerns will be wind gusts to 70 mph, hail the size of quarters, and one or two landspout tornadoes. Red Flag conditions will continue across the San Luis Valley today, with hot and dry conditions coupled with dry fuels, lasing into this evening. Do not burn today or do any activity which could cause a spark. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Thunderstorms are expected over the mountains every day during the long term forecast period, with lightning a risk everyday, but the highest impacts will be Thursday and Friday where heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding exists. Hot temperatures return early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
