Weather hazards expected... Slight hail risk. Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk. Elevated lightning risk. Elevated excessive rainfall risk DISCUSSION... Storms have developed across northeastern Kansas. This activity will continue to move east and could clip portions of the area north of Interstate 44 tonight into Saturday morning, with the best potential being north of Highway 54. A few strong to severe storms will be possible with winds up to 60 mph and hail up to the size of quarters the risk. Locally heavy rain will also occur with the storms tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Saturday will be very hot with Heat Index values up to 110. Marginally severe storms will be possible through Saturday night. Slightly cooler conditions will occur on Sunday, then the hot conditions return early next week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
