* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Central Barton County in southwestern Missouri...
  South central Vernon County in west central Missouri...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 539 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Liberal, or
  12 miles northeast of Pittsburg, moving east at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Prairie State Park, Lamar, Liberal, Sheldon, Mindenmines, Lamar
  Heights, Irwin, Oakton, Iantha, Verdella, Hannon, and Boston.

This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 58 and 81.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
