Spot Forecast for Little Twist...Richfield Interagency Fire Center
National Weather Service Salt Lake City UT
1220 PM MDT Sat Jun 29 2024

Forecast is based on forecast start time of 1800 MDT on June 29.
If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather
Service.

.DISCUSSION...Southwesterly flow will reside across the region Sunday,
maintaining warm and dry conditions with gusty afternoon winds across
the fire area. Just enough moisture will creep into the area Sunday to
allow for a few afternoon cumulus buildups, mainly along the
ridgelines east of the fire. This will result in an upward trend of
2-5% in RH Sunday afternoon as compared to Saturday. Gusty southwest
winds will develop by early Sunday afternoon, with the strongest winds
along exposed ridgelines and through wind-aligned drainages. A dry
cold front will approach the area Monday, maintaining warm and dry
conditions, but turning winds more westerly during the afternoon. This
front will cross the area Monday evening. Cool but dry conditions along
with northwest winds will follow for Tuesday
