049 FZUS52 KTAE 281550 SRFTAE Surf Zone Forecast National Weather Service Tallahassee FL 1150 AM EDT Fri Jun 28 2024 .THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK... There is a high risk of rip currents at all of the area beaches outside of Franklin County. Surf heights are around 2 feet combined with a period running generally between 5 to 6 seconds for the Gulf County beaches westward to Walton County. Franklin County has surf heights around 1 foot with a period around 5 seconds. A high risk of rip currents may continue into the weekend and early next week as surf heights remain elevated.
