.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

There is a high risk of rip currents at all of the area beaches
outside of Franklin County. Surf heights are around 2 feet combined
with a period running generally between 5 to 6 seconds for the Gulf
County beaches westward to Walton County. Franklin County has surf
heights around 1 foot with a period around 5 seconds. A high risk of
rip currents may continue into the weekend and early next week as surf
heights remain elevated.

Based on communication with area beach officials, the following flags
are flying at area beaches:
