420 AM EDT Fri May 24 2024

Expect plenty of sunshine across the northern half of PA all day.
The few lingering showers and thunderstorms across the southern
tier should head to the south as a front moves into MD. It will
be a warm day, with lower humidity. High temperatures will range
between 75 and 80 in the mountains to between 80 and 85 in the
valleys.

Tonight will be mainly clear with lows around 50 in the northeast
but just above 60 in the larger cities. After a sunny start to
Saturday, clouds will increase and showers and thunderstorms will
move into the west late in the day, spreading into the central
mountains Saturday night. The east should remain dry and warm.
Daytime temperatures will reach the upper 70s in the Alleghenies
and lower 80s in the valleys. Sunday morning lows will be 55 to 65
degrees. Much of Sunday looks dry, but Sunday night and Monday
will be unsettled with numerous showers and thunderstorms to
contend with.
