...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN WEBSTER...
SOUTHEASTERN POCAHONTAS...NORTHEASTERN CALHOUN AND SOUTHWESTERN
HUMBOLDT COUNTIES THROUGH 845 PM CDT...

At 757 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northeast of Manson, or 14 miles west of Fort Dodge, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Dodge, Manson, Fort Dodge Regional Airport, Badger, Barnum,
Moorland, Palmer, Clare, Knierim, Pioneer, and Lizard Creek State
Recreation Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Des Moines .
