981 AWUS83 KICT 140957 RWSICT KSZ032-033-047>053-067>072-082-083-091>096-098>100-142200- Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Wichita KS 457 AM CDT Fri Jun 14 2024 Storms dissipated overnight across southern Kansas as additional storms tracked south across western Missouri. Early morning temperatures were generally in the low and mid 70s across the area. An upper level disturbance is expected to approach the Rockies today and will allow storms to develop over eastern Colorado this afternoon along with western Nebraska and far western Kansas. A few storms will also be possible this afternoon across southern Missouri. For tonight, storms over the High Plains will track east and northeast and will affect central and eastern Nebraska along with northwest and central Kansas. Some strong and severe storms will be possible with this activity tonight. Highs today are expected to range from the 80s across Nebraska to the mid and upper 90s across Oklahoma. Look for overnight lows to range from the upper 50s across western Nebraska to the low 70s across south central Kansas into Oklahoma. $$
