FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure around 30.0 inches is currently centered over
northern Lake Michigan and will continue to drift east through
this evening. In its wake southwesterly winds will increase late
tonight through Friday. Shower and thunderstorm chances increase
Friday afternoon into the evening and may linger into the morning
hours on Saturday. Winds turn northerly and increase behind a
backdoor front Saturday night into Sunday. Dry conditions are
expected early next week before shower before the pattern turns
more active with increasing shower and storm chances toward
midweek.

.FRIDAY...South winds 10 to 20 kt increasing to 30 kt. Chance of
showers in the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 ft building to 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...South winds 15 to 25 kt. Chance of showers in the
evening, then showers with a chance of thunderstorms overnight.
Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming west. Showers
with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning. Waves 4 to 6 ft
occasionally to 8 ft subsiding to 2 to 4 ft.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 25 kt becoming north.
Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to 8 ft.
.SUNDAY...North winds 15 to 25 kt. Waves 4 to 6 ft occasionally
to 8 ft.
