Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
841 PM MDT Sat Jun 1 2024

.Discussion...

Sunday will be breezy for many locations, with critical fire
weather possible over portions of the San Juans and La Garitas.
Though hot and dry conditions look to stick around into the middle
of next week, winds look to weaken below critical thresholds. A
trend towards above normal temperatures and dry conditions looks
to set in for the upcoming work week.

Surface-based inversions will begin to break between 0800 and
0900 tomorrow, with ventilation rates improving to Excellent for
most areas by 1300. Favorable conditions will persist until 1900.
Similar dispersion trends are expected for Monday.
