At 342 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers mainly west of a Bartlesville to Eufaula line and also in
Arkansas west of I49. Showers were heaviest in Creek and Okmulgee
counties in Oklahoma and was more widespread in northcentral
Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. Movement was to
the east at around 20 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was one tenth to one quarter of an inch with maximum amounts of
one half to three quarters of an inch. Coverage and intensity
decreased during the last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late
this afternoon and into this evening, mostly cloudy, a chance of
showers and thunderstorms with temperatures 73 to 88 degrees and
north winds up to 10 mph.
