This includes Koochiching, Lake, Cook, most of St. Louis and northern Itasca counties. Heavy rainfall may lead to localized flooding (40-70 percent chance). Otherwise, widespread rain showers with embedded thunderstorms will spread across northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin tonight. Severe weather is not expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday A Flood Watch is in effect through Tuesday evening for portions of north-central and northeast Minnesota. Rain showers and thunderstorms will diminish from west to east through the day on Tuesday. Severe weather is not expected. Increasing southerly winds gusting 25-30 knots late tonight into Tuesday will create conditions hazardous to Small Craft from Chequamegon Bay to Saxon Harbor tonight into the early afternoon on Tuesday. There is a 20-40 percent chance that gale force gusts may occur for these zones, with a similar chance for gusts of 25-30kts occurring elsewhere along the South Shore through the Twin Ports tonight. Waves along the North Shore from Taconite Harbor to Grand Portage will build tonight into Tuesday to around 3-4 feet from stronger winds in the open waters. This will be another area to watch for a Small Craft Advisory. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Small Craft A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect along portions of the South Shore on Tuesday.
