...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Canton.

  Mississippi River at Winfield.

  Mississippi River at Quincy.

  Mississippi River at Lock & Dam 21.

  Mississippi River at LaGrange.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...Illinois...

  Mississippi River at Hannibal.

  Mississippi River at Louisiana.

  Mississippi River at Clarksville.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT UNTIL
FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Canton.

* WHEN...From late Saturday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Near this level, the lock is closed to
  navigation.  This level will vary with circumstance.  Also, the
  railroad crossing at the east end of Henderson Street floods at
  this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue rising to 17.9 feet Friday,
    July 05. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 29.8 feet, Much of County Highways B and C in eastern
  St. Charles County are flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 25.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue rising to 29.9 feet Friday,
    July 05. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 21.1 feet, The roundabout at the north entrance to
  the Clat Adams Bicentennial Park begins flooding at this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 16.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    Monday evening and continue rising to 21.0 feet Friday, July
    05. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, The entrance to the lower parking lot at
  the Mark Twain Casino begins flooding near this height, requiring
  the use of an alternate entrance.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 14.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Tuesday morning and continue rising to 18.0 feet
    Thursday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Mississippi River at Hannibal.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, The Burlington Northern/Sante Fe railroad
  tracks running North and South and the railroad yards begin to
  flood.  At this height, water reaches the base of the two flood
  gates at Hill Street and Center Steet, so these gates should
  already be installed and locked down.  Also at this level,
  preparations are made to install the remaining 3 flood gates on
  Broadway Avenue and Main Street if the forecast reaches 21.5 feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:15 PM CDT Friday was 17.4 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 21.0 feet Friday,
    July 05. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
