...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN GARFIELD AND SOUTH
CENTRAL RIO BLANCO COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 616 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 28
miles northwest of Parachute, or 46 miles north of Grand Junction,
moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of western Garfield
and south central Rio Blanco Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
