The Central High Plains region observed showers and embedded storms
across Yuma county overnight with dry conditions elsewhere. At 2am
MDT (3am CDT) temperatures ranged from 71 degrees in Goodland,
Kansas to 82 degrees in Benkelman, Nebraska.

OUTLOOK... Another potential for storms this afternoon as high
temperatures will once again be in the 90s, although not as humid.
Southeast moving storms are forecast to develop just north of the
Tri-State area with damaging winds the primary threats along with a
conditional risk for hail if a mature, long lived storm can occur. A
cold front moves across the area Friday night into Saturday morning
resulting in high temperatures in the 80s. Saturday night into
Sunday morning may bring some more rain chances south of I-70.
