NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK

Areas affected...portions of northern/central GA into northwest SC

Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 332...

Valid 271402Z - 271530Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 332
continues.

SUMMARY...Locally gusty winds 45-55 mph possible the next couple of
hours. Overall trends indicated weakening/lessening severe potential
the remainder of the morning.

DISCUSSION...Outflow has developed southward from a cluster of
convection across north-central GA this morning. Overall convective
trends show weakening behind this outflow, and storms are likely
elevated behind this boundary. A few locally strong gusts
approaching severe threshold will be possible in the short term. If
current intensity and/or continued weakening trend persists, a
downstream watch is unlikely for this morning cluster of storms.
