A few showers or storms may stray onto the adjacent plains later in the afternoon with a few capable of producing gusty outflow winds up to 45 mph. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday The heat sets in Sunday with highs across northeast Colorado well into the 90s. Monday will likely be the hottest day of this period, with highs soaring into the 95 to 100 degree range across the plains. A few thunderstorms with gusty winds and brief light to moderate rain will be possible each day, mostly over the higher terrain Monday and Tuesday.
