...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN NORFOLK AND
SOUTHEASTERN BRISTOL COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned
area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for
southeastern Massachusetts.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM EDT
FOR CENTRAL PLYMOUTH COUNTY...

At 1205 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Hull to Kingston to near Mattapoisett, moving
east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Plymouth, Marshfield, Marion, Middleborough, Hingham, Wareham,
Scituate, Pembroke, Duxbury, Hanover, Kingston, Carver, Norwell,
Cohasset, Mattapoisett, Rochester, and Plympton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
