Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
157 AM MDT Sat Jun 15 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather conditions are likely for areas west of the Laramie
Range over the weekend and into next week. A combination of warm
temperatures, minimum RHs of 15 percent and below, and wind gusts
over 30 MPH will lead to fire weather concerns. Scattered showers
and thunderstorms are possible Saturday afternoon. With the low-
levels rapidly drying out due to hot temperatures, cannot rule out
dry lightning, mainly in Wyoming. The dry low-levels will also
contribute to potentially strong, gusty and erratic winds in the
vicinity of these storms.
