This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

A Flood Watch is in effect through Sunday morning for portions of
western Georgia. Rainfall amounts of 1-2" with isolated amounts of
4" or more will be possible. This will lead to isolated flash
flood risks, especially for areas which have seen heavy rainfall
on previous days.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday...

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible in portions of central
Georgia through Tuesday. Severe weather is not expected, but
storms will be capable of heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and
gusty winds.


.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not requested, but spotters are encouraged
to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to
weather.gov/atlanta. Please relay any information about observed
severe weather to the NWS.
