.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River Ma out to 25 NM
Northwest winds will relax late this morning through the afternoon
as high pressure moves across southern New England and into the Gulf
of Maine. High pressure shifts southeast of the waters Saturday
morning with an area of low pressure tracking across Quebec Saturday
evening. As the high moves out and the low approaches, southerly flow
will increase bringing a period of conditions hazardous to small
craft Saturday afternoon into Sunday. A cold front then crosses the
waters Sunday with high pressure building in Monday and Tuesday of
next week.
