including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.

A broad area of low pressure, now designated as Tropical Storm
Alberto, will continue to track towards the east central coast of
Mexico late tonight and Thursday morning. High winds, hazardous
seas, and above normal coastal water levels are prevalent well
north the storm. With the exception of Galveston Bay, a Tropical
Storm Warning remains in effect over our coastal waters. Water
levels are running 2 to 4 feet above normal and anticipate some
coastal flooding until we pass the high tide cycle tonight. Small
craft should remain in port until weather conditions start
improving later this week.
