Through 700 am, scattered showers and possible isolated
thunderstorms will wax and wane over the island chain, adjacent
nearshore waters, and the eastern Florida Straits. Movement of these
showers will be slow, between 5 and 10 mph, to the northeast.
Mariners encountering the strongest activity can expect moderate to
heavy rainfall reducing visibility to below 3 miles, wind gusts near
20 mph, and a rare lightning strike. Select island communities can
expect a quarter to a half of an inch of rainfall.
